Abel the Living Epistle of Jesus Christ

Apostle Paul wrote,
Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to

written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the
living God; not in tables of stone,
but in fleshy tables of the heart.

The Lord is Abel's Shepherd. Abel declares that often as he shall be exposed to danger , he will have sufficient defense and protection in being under the care of the Lord, his Shepherd. The Lord leads us into the path of righteousness and the Lord leads us on in the path of righteousness. The Lord leads. The believers simply trust in the Lord and follows his Lord. The Lord has armed the believers to resist fears which attack the believers. The believers are not devoid of fears. We are to overcome fear wherever the Lord our Shepherd would lead us. I shall fear no evil. Abel's remedy against fear is to trust the Lord with all his mind, with all his heart, with all his soul, and with all his strength. The enemy waits for an opportunity to kill in the valley of the shadow of death. It is but a shadow of death for Abel. Abel has well practiced the steps that the Lord has taught him. The Lord leads. And Abel follows the Lord in the path of righteousness for the name sake of the Lord. The shadow of a giant wild beast will not kill. The shadow of a serpent will not sting. Christ has defeated death, when he died for us on the cross. Christ has paid the price of redeeming us with his precious blood. And God has raised Christ from the dead. And death is defeated. To the sheep of Christ , death is only a shadow. Christ has already conquer the enemy, death. Death can not sting the believer. God will rebuke the enemy. The Lord will guide us with His rod , and sustain us with His staff, And that from a child you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. (2Tim 3:15) Abel proclaims that Jesus the Lamb of God is slain from the foundation of the world. For God so loved the world that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaks (Hebrews 11:1-4) Love never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (1Corinthians 13:8-13) What we see now is like a dim image in a mirror. Then we shall see face to face. What I know now is only partial, but then it will be complete - as perfect as God's knowledge of me. We can see and understand only a little about God now , as if we were peering at his reflection in a poor mirror ; but someday we are going to see God in his completeness, face to face. Now all you know is hazy and blurred, but someday you will see everything clearly, just as clearly as God sees into your heart right now. And we shall see God in our pure heart. And now these three lives in us : faith, hope, and love. And the greatest of these is love. Abel has the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ in all his mind, in all his heart, in all his soul and in all his strength. Abel has the Lord Jesus Christ's hope in all his mind, in all his heart, in all his soul and in all his strength. Abel has the Lord Jesus Christ's love in all his mind, in all his heart, in all his soul and in all his strength. The Lord Jesus Christ is Abel's righteousness. Abel offered the Lord Jesus Christ to God. God accepted Abel's offering of the Lord Jesus Christ by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaks.

CAIN AND ABEL

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. Eve was mistaken concerning her first child. She thought this was the child promised by the Lord , but he was not the promised child. He is not the seed that should bruise the serpent's head. Instead of getting the Saviour Eve got a murderer. This shows her ignorance in which she had fallen into because she trusted in Satan for knowledge. And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. Abel was a type of spiritual man. He was a shepherd. And Abel brought an offering to the Lord. According to the Lord's instructions Abel brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: Abel understood what the Lord's requirements for man's salvation. Abel had faith in the Lord. Abel was conscious of sin .His sacrifice of the firstlings of his flock was expression of his consciousness of man's sin and his need for the Lord to provide an substitute. Blood was shed to express his consciousness of sin and his faith in Lord for a substitute. Abel's sacrifice was acceptable because he was righteous (1John 3:12). Abel's offering was acceptable because it was offered in faith (Heb11:4).God has ordained such sacrifice. It gives a picture of the atoning death of Christ. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. And the LORD said unto Cain, Why are you wroth? and why is your countenance fallen? If you do well, shall you not be accepted? and if you do not well, sin lies at the door. And unto you shall be its desire, and you must rule over it. This earthy offering had its roots in ground. It was from the world. It was a sign of disobedience to the Lord. Cain did his own way. Cain did it not according God's instruction. Cain did it not according the way of the Lord. Cain was a type of a natural man of the world. These people attack with insults anything they do not understand. And those things that they knew by instinct, like wild animals, are the very thing that destroys them. How terrible for them. They have followed the way that Cain took (Jude 11,12). Cain's religion was of works. It was based on lies. It had its roots from the liar , Satan. These lies lead to dead end ways that are without God. Abel ate God's Word, and brought out offerings according to the word of God. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and his offering. But Cain ate the lies of Satan and brought up disobedience to God. And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

Cain's religion is a wolf in a sheepskin. In disobedience to the God Cain refused to recognize man's sin. Cain rejected the provision of God. It also rejected God's authority. And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper? And He said, What have you done? the voice of thy brother's blood cries unto me from the ground. And now art thou cursed from the earth, which had opened her mouth to receive your brother's blood from thy hand; Man's religion fills his heart with hatred. Cain hated his brother and slew him. When you till the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shall thou be in the earth. God's way of salvation fills man's heart with love. ------------------------------ Title: ABEL A LIVING EPISTLE OF JESUS CHRIST ISBN 13 : 978-1-928153-22-1(HTML) Author: Anthony Ing Publication Year: 2017
