ENOCH 
A LIVING EPISTLE OF
JESUS CHRIST


 By faith Enoch was translated
 that he should not see death;
 and was not found, because
 God had translated him: 
for before his translation
 he had this testimony, that
 he pleased God.
(HEBREWS 11:5)

 And Enoch also, the seventh 
from Adam, prophesied of these,
 saying, Behold, the Lord 
comes with ten thousands 
of his saints,
 To execute judgment upon all,
 and to convince all that are 
ungodly among them of all their
 ungodly deeds which they have 
ungodly committed, and of all 
their hard speeches which ungodly
 sinners have spoken against him.
(JUDE 1:14-15)

 And Jared lived an hundred 
sixty and two years, and
 he begot Enoch:
 And Jared lived after
 he begot Enoch eight hundred years,
 and begot sons and daughters:
 And all the days of Jared
 were nine hundred sixty and
 two years: and  he died.
 And Enoch lived sixty and
 five years, and begot Methuselah:
 And Enoch walked with God
 after he begot Methuselah 
three hundred years, and
 begot sons and daughters:
 And all the days of
 Enoch were three hundred
 sixty and five years:
 And Enoch walked with God:
 and he was not;
 for God took him.
 And Methuselah lived an
 hundred eighty and seven years,
 and begot  Lamech:
 And Methuselah lived after
 he begot Lamech seven hundred 
eighty and two years, and
 begot sons and daughters:
 And all the days of Methuselah
 were nine hundred sixty
 and nine years: and he died.
 And Lamech lived an hundred 
eighty and two years, and
 begot a son:
 And he called his name Noah,
 saying, This same shall 
comfort us concerning our 
work and toil of our hands,
 because of the ground which
 the LORD has cursed.
 And Lamech lived after he
 begot Noah five hundred ninety
 and five years, and begot 
sons and daughters:
 And all the days of Lamech
 were seven hundred seventy
 and seven years: and he died.
 And Noah was five hundred
 years old: and Noah begot
 Shem, Ham, and Japheth
(GEN 5:18-28)


What does it mean to walk with
God ?
Enoch , in the midst of a godless
generation walked with God.
Enoch went the same direction 
God went. Enoch goes the 
way of Jesus. Enoch knows 
the way of Jesus. The Lord leads
the way and Enoch follows the Lord.
Satan destroys and wrecks human
life. 
God saves life.
God opposes that which destroys 
human life.
Enoch walks with God against
Satan.
For God so loved the world that
He gave His only begotten Son
that whosoever believes in 
Him shall not perish but have
everlasting life.
This is God's plan for Adam's
salvation. This is God's
plan for Enoch's salvation.
This is God's plan for our
salvation. This is God's
plan for man's salvation.
Man can never save himself.
Man needs the Lord to save 
him.
Enoch keeps in step with God.
The Lord leads Enoch in the
path of righteousness.
Enoch lives on the verge of a
fall. 
The devil finds every opportunity
to destroy man.
If God is not there to
support and strengthen him,
Enoch would have fallen.
Enoch learned to count on the
Lord to come through for him.
Enoch depended on the Lord to
keep him steady.
When Enoch walks with God, 
Enoch always reached out to 
others with love.
When Enoch  walks with God ,
Enoch is  never satisfied to
remain in a quiet state when
people are perishing. 
Enoch is a postman for the 
Lord. Enoch is delivering
the good news of Jesus Christ
to the world with love.
Enoch is a living epistle of
Jesus Christ.
Enoch and God are in
agreement when Enoch walks with
God.
If we are  going to walk with
God , we must agree with the
will of God.

 This I say then,
 Walk in the Spirit,
 and you shall not fulfill
 the lust of the flesh.

(Galatians 5:16)



For you were sometimes darkness, 
but now are you light in the Lord:
 walk as children of light: 
(For the fruit of the Spirit 
is in all goodness and
 righteousness and truth;)
 Proving what is acceptable
 unto the Lord. 

(Ephesians 5:8-10)


 For they that are after
 the flesh do mind the 
things of the flesh; but
 they that are after the
 Spirit the things of 
the Spirit.
 For to be carnally
 minded is death; but
 to be spiritually minded
 is life and peace.
 Because the carnal mind
 is enmity against God:
 for it is not subject
 to the law of God,
 neither indeed can be.
 So then they that are
 in the flesh cannot please God.

 But you are not in the
 flesh, but in the Spirit,
 if so be that the Spirit
 of God dwell in you. Now
 if any man have not the
 Spirit of Christ, he is none of his
(Romans 8:5-9 )
(Ezekiel 36:26-27)
A new heart I will give you
and a new spirit I will put
within you ...
I will put my Spirit within you
and cause you to walk in my
statues.
(Ezekiel 36:26-27)

Enoch walks with God in
a Spirit of love.
You must be born again in Spirit
and truth.
First walks with God as a spiritual
baby. As you walk with God , you 
will grow   spiritually mature.

 Walk in the Spirit,
 and you shall not fulfill
 the lust of the flesh.


Believed in the Lord Jesus and 
you will be saved , and your 
household.

(Acts 16:31)


 He that believes and 
is baptized shall be saved;
 but he that  believes not
 shall be damned
(Mark 16:16)


Adam and Eve,
Seth , Kenen, Mahaluleel ,
Jareb , Methuselah , Lamech . 
were still living when Enoch
walked with the Lord. 

JESUS said,
I am the way , the truth , and
the life. No man comes unto
the Father but by me.
(John 3:16)
The Lord Jesus Christ is 
the Shepherd of Enoch.
Enoch holds the truth.
Enoch holds the Lord Jesus
Christ.
Enoch lives the life of Christ.
The Lord Jesus Christ abides
in Enoch.
Enoch walks with God. God accepts
Enoch as righteous.

 And whatsoever you do,
 do it heartily, as to 
the Lord, and not unto men;
Knowing that of the Lord 
you shall receive the reward 
of the inheritance: for you
 serve the Lord Christ.
But he that does wrong 
shall receive for the wrong
 which he has  done: and
 there is no respect of persons.


And Enoch lived sixty and
 five years, and begot Methuselah:
 And Enoch walked with God
 after he begot Methuselah 
three hundred years, and
 begot sons and daughters:
 And all the days of
 Enoch were three hundred
 sixty and five years:
 And Enoch walked with God:
 and he was not;
 for God took him.
Enoch lived sixty five years,
and bogot Methuselah. 
And Enoch walked with God
after he begot Methuselah three
hundred years. Enoch walked with
God against the devil.
For three hundred years Enoch
walked with God against the devil.
With the sword of the Spirit and
the prayer of the Spirit , Enoch
walked with God against the devil.

 Apostle Paul wrote, 
Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to 
 be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, 
 written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the
 living God; not in tables of stone,
 but in fleshy tables of the heart. 
 ( 2Corinthians 3:3) 
 You show that you are a letter of the living 
 Lord God ,
 written not with ink but with the
 Spirit of the living God, not on tablets
 of stone but on tablets of human heart.
 Clearly you are a letter from Christ .
 The letter is written not with pen and ink ,
 but with the Holy Spirit.
 It is carved not in tablets of stone,
 but in human heart.
 You show that you are a letter from
 the Lord Jesus Christ,
 written not with computers but with the Holy Spirit 
 of the living God , not in computer tablets
 but in tablets of human heart.
 You are demonstrating that you are the
 Messiah’s epistle ,
 written not with ink but with
 the Spirit of the living 
 God , not in tablets 
of stone , but in tablets
 of human heart.
 It is clear that you are
 Christ’s epistle.
 You are a letter
 written not with ink but
 with the Holy Spirit .
 You are a letter written
 not in tablets of stones
 but in human heart.
 You are manifestly declared
 to be the epistle of Christ,
 written not with ink , but with the Spirit of
 the living of God, not in tablets of stones
 but in fleshly tablets of the heart.
 You are the living letter of the Lord Jesus Christ.
 Your hearts are the substance which 
 God’s writing is made.
 The Holy Spirit produces the love in
 your heart and the mark of love becomes the evident
 to the world.

You are an living epistle of Christ. 
You are an living epistle of Christ
that speak for Christ .You are an
epistle of Christ that minister
Christ to others.
How much of the Lord Jesus Christ
has been written in you by the
Holy Spirit ? 
How much has the Holy Spirit 
written in each of the believers ?
How much has the Holy Spirit written
in Enoch a living epistle of
Jesus Christ ?
How much has the Holy Spirit written
in you ? The real disciples  of
Jesus Christ are  with the word of God 
written in them.
Each believer is a living epistle 
of the Lord Jesus Christ.
 In the beginning
the believer is like a baby in 
spiritual matters. Then the believer grows
spiritually with the help of the 
Holy Spirit. Then the believer grows into a
spiritually mature believer. 
When I was a child,
 I spoke as a child,
 I understood as a child,
 I thought as a child: 
but when I became a man,
 I put away childish
  things.
For now we see through
 a glass, darkly;
 but then face to face:
 now I know in part; 
but then shall I know
 even as also I am known.
And now abides faith,
 hope, love, these three;
 but the greatest of 
these is love.
(1Corinthians 13:8-13)
As the believer matures 
spiritually , the word of
God increases.
Jesus approves of Enoch's expression 
of love for Him. Jesus also approves of
Enoch's love for Him by preaching
the good news of Jesus Christ.
When people see Enoch ,
a living epistle of Jesus Christ ,
 they are reading the living epistle 
written by the Lord Jesus Christ. 
People see that Enoch loves
 the Lord Jesus Christ
with all his mind , with all his heart ,
 with all his soul , and with 
all his strength. 
Enoch gives all his heart 
to the Lord when
he tells the good news of
Jesus Christ to the people. 
 We can see the everlasting 
of love of the Lord Jesus
Christ expressed by Enoch.
Evil can not defeat evil.
Only love can defeat evil.
God is love. And
God can defeat evil Satan.
Praise the Lord. God's plan
for man's salvation through
Jesus Christ is a everlasting
truth. 


Enoch sees God's plan for
man's salvation.
Enoch proclaims that Jesus the
Lamb  of God  is slain from 
the foundation of the
 world.
For God so loved the
world that he gave His Only
 begotten Son  that whosoever believes
in him shall not perish
but have everlasting life .(John 3:16)
God wants not great men but humble
 common folks who will dare to prove 
the greatness of their God. Before
 God called Enoch, he was a pagan.
  It was not by
 his own human effort that Enoch
 became what he is. Enoch did
 not do it by his own efforts 
and works, God did it. God 
raised up Enoch to be what he is.
 Not by might, or by power
 but by my Spirit  Thus
 says the Lord.
 Man's very best comes far 
short of God's lowest and least
 requirements. Man can never
 save himself by his own efforts.
 Only the Lord Jesus Christ 
can save us. For God so loved
 the world that He gave His
 only begotten Son that whosoever
 believes in Him should not
 perish but have everlasting life.
 Jesus is the way, the truth,
 and the life. No man can come
 unto the Father but by the 
Lord Jesus Christ.
Enoch was an ordinary person 
just like you and I . God's Word
 clearly tells us that Enoch's
 mighty works were not the result
 of some rare combination of
 personal qualities, but were
 the result of his faith in God.
 There are only two ways. God's
 way is to life. And the devil's
 way is to death and destruction.
Enoch choose God's way to life.
Many people make a mistake in
 thinking that the mighty people
 of God have extraordinary qualities 
of courage, and strength of body 
and soul. These people of God
 were not any different from 
the ordinary folks , except in 
their faith. What lift them 
above the ordinary people is
 that they have strong faith 
in God. They are obedient to
 God's call. But they did not
 do these mighty works with 
human strength. It was God 
who did all these wonderful
 works through them who had 
faith in God. The message 
that Enoch is saying to us is,
 God did it.
Enoch did it not by might
 nor by power, but by the
 Holy Spirit. Enoch has faith
 in the Lord. Enoch believes
 God.
