PROVERB of Jesus Christ ( 14 )
1 Every wise woman built her house: but the foolish plucks it down with her hands. 2 He that walks in his uprightness fears the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despises him. 3 In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them. 4 Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox. 5 A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies. 6 A scorner seeks wisdom, and finds it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understands. 7 Go from the presence of a foolish man, when you perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge. 8 The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit. 9 Fools make a mock at sin : but among the righteous there is favour. 10 The heart knows his own bitterness; and a stranger does not intermeddle with his joy. 11 The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish. 12 There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. 13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness. 14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself. 15 The simple believes every word: but the prudent man looks well to his going. 16 A wise man fears, and departs from evil: but the fool rages, and is confident. 17 He that is soon angry deals foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated. 18 The simple inherit folly: but the prudent are crowned with knowledge. 19 The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous. 20 The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich has many friends. 21 He that despises his neighbour sins: but he that has mercy on the poor, happy is he. 22 Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good. 23 In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tends only to penury. 24 The crown of the wise is their riches: but the foolishness of fools is folly. 25 A true witness delivers souls: but a deceitful witness speaks lies. 26 In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge. 27 The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death. 28 In the multitude of people is the king's honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince. 29 He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalts folly. 30 A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones. 31 He that oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker: but he that honors him has mercy on the poor. 32 The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous has hope in his death. 33 Wisdom rests in the heart of him that has understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known. 34 Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. 35 The king's favour is toward a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causes shame. 1 Every wise woman built her house: A wise woman builds her house on the rock. When the storm comes, it can not harm the house because the house sits on Christ Who is stronger than rock. but the foolish plucks it down with her hands. The foolish plucks her house down with straw. When the storm comes her house will perish. 2 He that walks in his uprightness fears the LORD Jesus said, Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in me. (John: 15:4) If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. (John 15:7) If you abide in Christ , you ought to walk in the same way in which Christ walked.If you abide in Christ , you ought to think the way Christ thinks. 2 He that walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart. Christ walks uprightly , and works righteousness and speaks the truth in his heart. The Holy spirit guides the believer to walk upright like Christ. The Holy Spirit guides the believer to work righteous. The Holy Spirit guides the believer to speak the truth in his heart. He that is perverse in his ways despises the Lord . In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: To perish is foolishness. The fool will die. But the lips of the wise shall preserve them. The wise believes in Christ. The scorner does not believe in Christ Who is the wisdom of God. The scorner does not believe in wisdom. He seeks not the wisdom of God Who is Christ. Knowledge is easy unto him that understands Christ. 7 Go from the presence of a foolish man, when you perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge. Leave the foolish man. The fool has no knowledge of Christ. His hope is to perish. 8 The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way of Christ that leads to everlasting life. But the folly of fools is deceit. They liars. There is no truth in their words. 9 Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour. The penalty of sin is death. Fools make a mock at sin: Fools will not be able to mock when they are to die. They will perish because of their sin. But among the righteous there is flavor. The deceitful witness are liars. 26 In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge. 27 The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death. In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence in Christ: and his children shall have a place of refuge in Christ. The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life He who believes in Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life. The snares of death can get the believer . The believers believes in Christ and have everlasting life. 28 In the multitude of people is the king's honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince. Multitude of people honours the king. 29 He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalts folly. He that slow to wrath is of great understanding of Christ. But he that is hasty of spirit exalts folly. 30 A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones. Love defeats evil. Love is the life of the flesh. Envy destroys the person ; envy the rottenness of the bones. 31 He that oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker: but he that honours him has mercy on the poor. He that oppresses the poor reproaches the Lord : He that oppresses the poor angers his Maker: He that honours the Lord has mercy on the poor. 32 The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous has hope in his death. The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: The wicked will perish. But the righteous has hope in his death. It is only a shadow of death. Death can not harm him. Christ has defeated death.The penalty of sin is death. Christ has died and rose again in three days. Death can not harm Christ. Christ's victory over death is our victory over death because we believe in Christ. Christ paid the penalty of your sin . Whosoever believes in Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life. 33 Wisdom rests in the heart of him that has understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known. Wisdom rests in the heart of him that has understanding of Christ: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known. The foolishness of fool is made known. The fools will perish is made known. 34 Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. 35 The king's favour is toward a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causes shame. A wise servant is full of righteousness. Righteousness exalts a nation.
