Psalm of Jesus Christ

To the chief Musician
A Psalm of David.
1 I will praise you, O LORD,
 with my whole heart;
I will show forth all your marvellous works.
2 I will be glad and rejoice in you:
 I will sing praise to your name,
 O you most High.
3 When mine enemies are turned
 back, they shall fall and perish at
 your presence.
 and my cause; you sat in the throne
 judging right.
5 You have rebuked the heathen,
 you have destroyed the wicked, 
you have put out their name for ever and ever.
6 O you enemy, destruction are come to a
 perpetual end: and you have destroyed cities;
 their memorial is perished with them.
7 But the LORD shall endure for ever:
 he has prepared his throne for judgment.
8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness,
 he shall minister judgment to the 
people in uprightness.
9 The LORD also will be a refuge
 for the oppressed, a refuge in times
 of trouble.
10 And they that know your name
 will put their trust in you: for you, 
LORD, have not forsaken them that seek you.
11 Sing praises to the LORD, which
 dwells in Zion: declare among the 
 people his doings.
12 When he makes inquisition for blood,
 he remembers them: he forgets not
 the cry of the humble.
13 Have mercy upon me, O LORD;
 consider my trouble which I suffer
 of them that hate me, you that lift
 me up from the gates of death:
14 That I may show forth all your praise
 in the gates of the daughter of Zion:
 I will rejoice in your salvation.
15 The heathen are sunk down in the 
pit that they made: in the net which
  they hid is their own foot taken.
16 The LORD is known by the judgment 
which he executes: the wicked is snared 
in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
17 The wicked shall be turned into hell,
 and all the nations that forget God.
18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten:
 the expectation of the poor shall not
 perish for ever.
19 Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail:
 let the heathen be judged in your  sight.
20 Put them in fear,
 O LORD: that the nations may know
 themselves to be but men. Selah.




David recognizes the Lord was
worthy of praise with his whole heart.
The Lord is worthy of praise with all
David's heart. David's entire being 
is directed in affection toward God.

David will show forth all the marvelous
works of the Lord.
David will be glad  and rejoice in the Lord.
 David will sing praise to the name of the  
Lord. David will sing praise to the most 
high Lord.


3 When mine enemies are turned

 judging right.

When David's enemies are turned back,
they shall fall and perish at the Lord's
presence.
And the Lord sat in the throne judging 
right in my cause
The Lord have rebuked the heathen.
The Lord have destroyed the wicked.
The Lord have put out their names
for ever and ever.

The enemy of David are destroyed. Their 
destruction are come to a perpetual end.
The Lord had defeated David's enemies.
The Lord shall endure  for ever. The Lord
has prepared His throne for judgment.

righteousness. The Lord shall minister
judgment to the people in uprightness.

9 The LORD also will be a refuge
 for the oppressed, a refuge in times
 of trouble.
10 And they that know your name
 will put their trust in you: for you, 
LORD, have not forsaken them that seek you.


The Lord will be a refuge for the

They that know the Lord's name will put 
their trust in the Lord .  For  you Lord ,
have not forsaken them that seek the
Lord.

11 Sing praises to the LORD, which
 dwells in Zion: declare among the 
 people his doings.

 I will rejoice in your salvation.

Lord have mercy upon David. Consider
 David;s trouble which he suffers of
them that hate him. Lord , you 
lift me up from gates of death.
David shows forth all the LORD'S 
praise in the of gates of the daughter
of Zion. David will rejoice in the Lord's
salvation,
David wanted God to rescue him so
that he could give the Lord all the more
praise'
